The dessert plate trend is totally worth the hype. Instead of committing to one big dessert, you build a little plate of sweet bites: a cookie here, something crunchy there, a few pieces of dried or fresh fruit to balance it all out. It's part snack board, part treat, and all fun! 😋
Grab a few of your favorite gluten-free goodies, arrange them on a plate, and you've got an instant treat that looks as good as it tastes.
What's on our plate
For this plate, we pulled a few favorites straight from the October Love Me Gluten Free box. Buttery, crunchy, fruity, and sweet 🍐

Bahlsen Liebniz Mini Cookies
These bite-size butter cookies are the anchor of the plate. They're crisp, buttery, and just the right size for snacking.

drybox Pear Chips
These bring a light, naturally sweet crunch that balances out the richer treats. They're a nice reminder that a dessert plate doesn't have to be all cookies.

Swoffle Caramel Stroopwafel
The star of the show. Two thin, soft waffle cookies with a layer of gooey caramel in between. Break it into pieces for the plate, or set it on top of a hot mug of coffee or tea for a minute to soften the caramel.

How to build your own dessert plate
There are no strict rules, but a simple formula helps the plate feel balanced:
-
Start with a cookie. Pick one main sweet, like a butter cookie, shortbread, or stroopwafel, to anchor the plate.
-
Add crunch. Fruit chips, nuts, or a crisp cracker add texture.
-
Add something fresh. Berries, grapes, or apple slices keep things light.
-
Add a little extra. A square of chocolate, a drizzle of caramel, or a small scoop of nut butter makes it feel special.
-
Arrange in clusters. Group each item in its own little pile and ENJOY!
